The RX 8 Universal Wrist Brace is a rigid medical device that wraps around the user's wrist to treat an injured wrist or to help prevent further injury.

Constructed with a durable nylon exterior layer with a latex-free, breathable open-cell foam core, and soft nylon lining, is it designed to protect, stabilize, and restrict the wrist from painful movements, it also has a generous thumb and finger opening that allows the fingers and thumb to move freely and a positional thumb-web strap that provides a more personalized fit and enhanced comfort. The brace straps have had a loop and lock closures that allow easy and quick adjustments and preferred levels of compression.

The brace offers a removable, malleable, metal palmar stay for customization of the wrist extension, and a malleable, aluminum dorsal stay is positional to offer an exact alignment for dorsiflexion restriction. The stays can be removed to offer a more relaxed bracing during the later stages of recovery.

The brace has hook and loop closures to allow easy application and removal, and when not in use, it opens flat that allows for easier cleaning and sanitizing.
