This wheelchair's triple-coated chrome, carbon steel design and heavy-duty vinyl upholstery provide safe and strong use. The dual-cross braces not only support the chair seat at a semi-level position, but also make the manual opening and closing of the chair easy and smooth. Simply grab opposite sides of the seat rail and push or pull accordingly; this makes travel or storage especially easy! The armrests and footrests are removable and adjustable to fit your needs and preferences.

How do I adjust the leg rest on the Sentra EC Heavy-Duty Manual Wheelchair?

Answer: Lift the footplate on the leg rest assembly to the desired position. Release leg rests assembly and it will automatically lock into place. To lower, push out on leg rest lever and lower foot plate to the desired position.

How do I engage the wheel locks on this wheelchair?

Answer: To engage the wheel locks, push the handles forward. Adjustments to the locks can be done by loosening or tightening the nut on the carriage bolt. Embed lock shoe at least 1/8" by sliding the clamp toward the rear wheel while the handle is engaged in the locked position. Tighten the nut and bolt to secure it in position. Test to ensure the locking action is operational before actually using it.

This heavy duty wheelchair is strong, yet not that heavy to pick up to transport. It comes in variety of sizes, so it was easy to find the model that we needed.
