Founded in 1992, this privately held company with headquarters in Buena Park, California, is a pioneer within the infrared home sauna movement, releasing a whole line of quality Canadian Western Red Cedar wood infrared wellness saunas and thermal units. With facilities in the United States, Asia, Canada, and Europe, carefully handling each stage of production from collecting the raw materials to the finished sauna, PLH has been the industry leader with infrared saunas by using the latest innovating technology to provide the ideal level of safe relaxation, soothing comfort, and overall health and healing.
PLH utilizes the highest quality Canadian Western Red Cedar, considered the best wood for a sauna, in their products. Only the finest center-cut wood is selected in their 300,000 square-feet factory and then fresh-air dried for several weeks to preserve the wood’s natural state. Then the wood is kiln dried to reach the optimum moisture content between 6-8% for sauna use.
PLH saunas also highlight the patented Tecoloy M heaters which emit a consistent infrared wavelength, heating the body evenly while putting out markedly reduced electromagnetic fields, allowing a safer sauna than the standard steam heated saunas. Other amenities with PLH sauna can include a towel bar, magazine holder, shelf, an overhead series of the color-spectrum range adjustable chromatic LED lights, and a built-in, top-of-the-line audio system that can accept several audio interfaces including Bluetooth, CD, and AM/FM radio.
