The Prime Plus Bariatric Powered Hospital Bed is easy-to-use and offers full electric adjustments of the head, foot, and height positions of the bed. All positioning controls are operated from the convenient, clip-on hand pendant. With the ability to quietly adjust positions to fit the needs of every patient, this bed offers maximum patient comfort and versatility for the caregiver. The adjustability and wide range of possible positions provide extra comfort and relaxation as well as caregiver accessibility.

The Cardiac Chair position is beneficial to patients with heart and respiratory problems. These patients often find the semi-upright position to be comforting and relieving to the lungs and improve circulation. The bed is also capable of achieving the Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positions that is perfect when used for rehabilitation and sub-acute care when easing discomfort and improving circulation. Caregivers can actuate the edema foot ratchet that elevates the foot end of the bed for positioning purposes. Maneuverability is not compromised, even with all of the additional features this bed is packed full of.

There are 4 Euro-style roll at any height steering and locking casters make maneuverability and secure position locking simple. The wall saver portion of the bed is adjustable in order to control the distance between the wall and the bed frame to prevent wall damage from bumps and scrapes that commonly occur during transporting patients. Mattress position is supported for 80, 84, and 88 of length thanks to the adjustable mattress retainer. Additionally, there is a built-in push button that controls the width expansion between 39 and 54. The all steel frame and no sag slat deck gives the bed superior strength, unmatched durability, and improved mattress support. The one-button drop down assist rails are padded and standard to improve patient comfort and safety.
