Assembling an EZRide+ is simple using the included multi-tool. The EZRide+ tow bar attaches directly to the wheelchair base bar using a provided chair clip and horizontal slide tube. The EZRide+ features a lithium-ion 36-volt battery that provides 12 to 20 miles worth of travel on a single charge! The charging setup is simple and involves inserting the three-prong cable into the EZRide+ port and then connecting it to an outlet. A full charge takes about 7 hours, making it easy to plug in overnight while you rest in preparation for a full day of independent mobility. The device uses an 8-inch wheel and an in-hub 36-volt electric motor, providing plenty of power for high speed. Also, the tires are flat-free with no air required! The EZRide+ power assist helps with indoor and outdoor mobility. It can handle all typical indoor surfaces, asphalt, concrete, average-length grass, and hard-packed gravel or dirt. The device is water-resistant and can handle light rain exposure. However, the device should not be submerged in water or left out for prolonged periods in the rain.
