The Benik Pediatric Neoprene Glove with Thumb Support is designed to help prevent and relieve thumb and wrist pain in children by supporting the carpometacarpal (CMC) and metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joints. This is done by comfortably immobilizing the affected thumb area with a 3mm neoprene glove that offers warmth, comfort, support, and protection against accidental bumps. A terry cloth liner helps to enhance softness and disperse pressure from accidental contact.
The fingerless glove with a thumb support offers flexible support for full use of the hand by allowing the fingers to move freely, and encouraging the hand and thumb to remain in a neutral and natural position during the day at school or home for the child.
The seams of the glove are glued and heat-tempered to provide durability and long-lasting wear, and the seams can be easily trimmed to provide a comfortable and custom fit for the child. A wrist wrap-around closure design offers a secure fit and firm support for the thumb area.
