Pedi-Wrap Arm Immobilizers with Thumbhole are recommended as bandage covers, or for splinting arms to maintain muscle length and joint range of motion. In the hospital, use the immobilizers to control arm movement, preventing wearers from pulling out NG tubes, IV tubes, or tracheotomies, from moving during X-rays, and from injuring themselves.
Each pair comes with plastic inserts and a shoulder strap; leaving the strap on is not recommended for overnight wear or wear while the child is sleeping.
Pedi-Wrap Arm Immobilizers with Thumbhole are easy to clean; simply wash and wear. It's recommended to wash and dry this product along with a load of towels, with the velcro overlapped.
Each immobilizer has a cotton print outside layer, a poly-fill middle layer, and a cotton inner layer for comfort. Latex free; FDA-approved.

To Measure Size
• Holding the arm straight out, measure the arm from the underarm to the wrist (without thumbhole). This is the length you need. |
• Measure the circumference of the bicep and the wrist. The Pedi-Wrap is intended to cover the full length of the patient's arm. It should not be fitted in the mid-bicep area or it will not provide adequate support or immobilization. |
