Pedi-Wrap Leg Immobilizers feature a child-friendly printed cotton layer on the outside. Below is a poly-fill layer in the middle and lastly, a cotton liner can be found on the inside for extra comfort. Incorporated is a pocked with a plastic insert. They are great for controlling leg movement or to cover and protect injuries, stitches, or bandages. Physical therapists like them to support the legs, whether it be intended for bones or muscles, braces for walking, and night splinting. The product is very versatile in the number of ways they can be used to aid the patient.
If the care provider measures past the initial measurement marked for the intended patient, the user will potentially experience discomfort caused by soft Velcro exposure.
The immobilizers are machine washable and can be dried in a standard dryer. It is recommended to wash them with other similar items, such as towels, if possible.
To Measure Size:

Holding the leg out, measure the leg from the inner thigh to the ankle. This is the length you need.

Measure the circumference of the upper thigh and the ankle.

The Pedi-Wrap is intended to cover the full length of the patient's leg.

It should be fitted as snugly (yet comfortably) as possible around the leg.
