Pedi-Wrap Plus Arm Immobilizers with Wrist Strap are recommended for use as bandage covers, or for maintaining muscle length and joint range of motion when used as arm splints. In the hospital, they can prevent a wearer from pulling out nasogastric feeding tubes or IVs, from putting things in the mouth, or from injuring themselves. The Pedi-Wrap Plus Arm Immobilizers with Wrist Strap can also be used to keep a wearer still during X-raying without interfering with the process.

This product is easy to clean in the washing machine and dryer; simply toss it in the machine, preferably with a load of similar items like towels. Each immobilizer has a printed cotton outer layer, a poly-fill middle layer, and a cotton inside layer.

To Measure Size

• Holding the arm straight out, measure the arm from the underarm to the wrist (without thumbhole). This is the length you need.

• Measure the circumference of the bicep and the wrist. The Pedi-Wrap is intended to cover the full length of the patient's arm. It should not be fitted in the mid-bicep area or it will not provide adequate support or immobilization.
