The Lumex Deluxe Clinical Care Recliner sets a new standard of comfort for the patient and ease of use for the caregiver. Featuring three positions for patient comfort, the fourth position is a Trendelenburg (or shock position) that must be activated by a caregiver. The Trendelenburg Position cannot be activated by a patient while in the recliner.

The first position is the Upright Position. This position is ideal for patient transport and can be used to initiate patient treatment/ therapy. The second position is the First Recline Position, which is also known as the "TV" position. This position is ideal for patient treatment, rest and reading.

The extra deep Trendelenburg Position is easily actuated from either side of the recliner by a conveniently located foot pedal. A steeper angle helps improve patient stabilization.

The third position is the Second Recline Position, which is also known as the "Full Recline" position. This position is ideal for patient treatment, rest and reading.

The wide, contoured seat and back, along with an integrated footrest, provide an enhanced level of comfort. Built-in arm pads in the back give improved support for the arms. Wall saver armrest caps increase durability of the armrests and protect walls from marring. Higher floor to back height enables the caregiver to raise the patient up with less effort, reducing the chance for back injury.

Four Tente swivel casters facilitate transport and maneuverability in confined areas. Three total locking casters feature an easy to locate black locking tab wheel and swivel with single motion. A directional wheel lock with a high visibility green tab allows the recliner to track straighter with less effort during transport.

Durable, high-impact side tables sit flush with the recliner arm to conveniently fold prep materials, and they are easy to actuate by the caregiver. The side table surface is smooth and features tapered edges for easy cleaning.

The Lumex Deluxe Clinical Care Recliner uses a heavy duty recliner mechanism. This geri chair holds a 350 lb. maximum weight capacity, evenly distributed.

Well made chair. Good height for adult to sit down and get up with minimal assistance. The company is responsive to assist with questions and concerns. My husband loved a chair exactly like this in an infusion clinic but when a new one arrived at home, he was felt it was different and not as comfortable. Perhaps the clinic chair was worn-in better. He especially doesnt like that he cannot adjust the chair himself. His memory was that he could adjust the clinic chair. It is a wonderful chair with the trays, the easy movement wheels, the many positions, but we have decided not to buy another chair until he is first able to go sit in it himself.
