Product Overview:

Unlike other thermoplastic materials that require high temperatures to reach optimal elasticity, Manosplint Carolina material is a low temperature thermoplastic that is extremely pliable, allowing practitioners to better customize the patient’s orthoses to their specific need. A perforated option is available for superior air-flow without sacrificing structural integrity or support. The material is available in individual sheets and in cases.

More Information

Manosplint Carolina material is a low temperature thermoplastic material used in the fabrication of orthoses, rehabilitation aids, and splints. During the construction process, the material is extremely flexible, allowing for extraordinary control to conform specifically to each patient. Patterns can be drawn directly on the material with a scratch awl to visually aid the construction process.

A perforated option is designed to allow superior air circulation without sacrificing strength or support, and both materials are designed to be extremely pliable during the construction process, a useful feature for both finely customized orthoses and for patients who may not be able to assist with proper positioning during the construction process. With maximum rigidity, minimum drape, and maximum resistance to stretch, the Manosplint Carolina orthoses material provides superior customization and support.

The fingerprint-resistant material keeps the splint visually appealing and structurally intact, and the soft-coated finish helps the finished orthoses to remain as unobtrusive as possible. Single sheet (1/8 in. x 12 in. x 18 in.) and cases of both perforated and solid material are available to suit individual and professional need.
